Each year the garden helps bring fresh produce to employees of the UNC community. It’s maintained by faculty, students, staff, and area residents who enjoy getting their hands dirty and creating something from the soil.

You can sign up and dig in at any time. They are always looking for volunteers who can wield a shovel or spray a garden bed down with a nice, cool, drink of water.

It’s also a great way to meet new people in Chapel Hill and mingle with staff and students from UNC Chapel Hill. So, grab your work shoes, put on some gloves and be ready to lend a helping hand this year. The work you do will make our community an even better place.
